Up for bidding is an error note from 1988 Bank Of Canada $50. The note is the one at the bottom of the scan. Top note of the scan is just for comparison and it is not included in the bid. Please magnify the high resolution scan. You will find that there are AT LEAST 6 vertical scars on the face of William Lyon Mackenzie King. The scars are so perfect that they don't run (extend) out of his face, by which, it makes up a perfect error ScarFace. I use a magnifying glass to look at these error scars in detail. I cannot explain how the scars got there but it looks ORIGINALLY from printing ink mistake. I DO NOT think that the scars are from ink roller as the scars are not parallel. When you magnify the scars big enough, you will see that the scars are not straight, they are same coloured red as the rest of the design but there is uneven thickness thoughout each individual scar. Therefore I am sure that it was not added on manually. However the scan is not high resolution enough to show fine detail of the scar. If the note is scanned to your computer, then you will see the perfect detail of the scars when you magnify the image big enough. And you will be surprised to see how perfect this error comes up with the scars. Amusing and unbelievable !!! So please have a look at the scan in detail and appreciate how perfect is this error comes up ! I never find this kind of error before ! This is an unique chance that YOU can have this "one & only one" error note in YOUR collection ! I don't think there is another one like this. There are lot of ink smear error notes but they carry no meaning which is the usual criteria of accident !  Error usually comes up from mistake, but this time the mistake makes up a perfect picture SCARFACE ! Amusing ! Error notes somewhat are similar like fold & cut error, there always have close by example. But how likely there is another error note bearing same kind of story like this note ! I can say NONE ! A Ten Million Number note costs around $3000 as it is so scare that only 1 in ten million notes. So how much it will cost for this UNIQUE error note ! In addition, this note has a fancy serial # FMD 23 75757 The note shows minimal circulation with an extremely faint center fold. Other than this, note is clean, corners are sharp, edges are straight, no tear, no hole, well centered, colour is fresh and bright. I will grade it as AU+++. But this is my own opinion.
