The coin is dedicated to the princess Olga (about 910-969) - the governor of the Kyiv state in 945-964. She carried out the state reform and organized strong points of Kyiv central power and legal procedure throughout the country which contributed to the formation of the Old-Rus state. In foreign policy Olga continued the course initiated by Ascold. She was baptized in Constantinople in 955. She used to invite European priests to Kyiv to spread Christianity. Princess Olga was canonized by the Orthodox church (Christian name Olena). On the coin obverse within the frame of the old-rus ornament of the Princess Olga's sarcophagus from the Tirth church there is the depiction of  Small State Emblem of Ukraine and the inscriptions: 2000 / УКРАЇНА / 10 / ГРИВЕНЬ, аs well as designation of metal: Ag 925 and its pure weight - 31,1.
