Each cachet is postmarked at the post office serving the site commemorated, on the exact 200th anniversary of that event. The cachets bear postmarks from each of the 13 original states as well as from cities in England, France and Canada. This completed collection contains more than 60,000 grains of sterling silver. Each cachet is 7-1/2" x 3-7/8".  Each sterling silver, proof measures 2-3/8" x 1-1/2". The complete book measures 17" x 10-3/8" x 4-1/8" and weights 18 lbs.. There are 14 pages with 5 cachets per page. Each ingot has the edgemarking of the sterling metal content, copyright symbol, Franklin Mint mintmark, year of issue and P signifying proof of status.
