BBC Maverick Trade Token Up for bid in this auction is a very unique Brunswick Balke Collender Co. Maverick Trade Token! This great looking token is almost 1" in diameter. It is an old Maverick (no place name can be given to it) token. The front reads "The Brunswick Balke Collender, Co", with a pool table picture underneath. The company was one that made pool hall tables and fixtures long ago (now know as the Brunswick Company). The back reads "Good For 5c, Turn Verein In Trade". The phrase "Turn Verein" is for a German athletic club. Overall condition is very good. It is copper colored and could be cleaned or left as is for an overall antique effect. All letters are clearly legible and it shows little, if any rub wear or scratching. It would make an excellent addition to any collection and can be yours now for a low price.
