Description
Spanish Treasure Bars from New World Shipwrecks This item is a new copy of Spanish Treasure Bars From New World Shipwrecks, by Alan K. Craig and Ernest J. Richards, Jr., (2003) and it is autographed by both authors. It is soft cover, 4to (8.5” x 11”), 228 pages, illustrated with maps, diagrams and photos. This book was written to explain what is known to date regarding treasure ingots. The bars are presented in both black & white and color photos and illustrations. The people who found them, the New World regions where they were made, and details of their markings are also presented. Chapter topics include: The Mimbres Bars; The Padre Island Wrecks; A Shipwreck near Cayo Inés de Soto; The Power Plant Wreck; Treasure Bars from the Atocha; Nuestra Señora de las Maravillas; The Jupiter Wreck; Treasure Bars from the 1715 Plate Fleet; El Nuevo Constante nèe Duke of York; Cuban Copper Treasure Ingots; and Old and New Falsifications of Spanish Bars. This is a great addition to the shipwreck treasure enthusiast's library. Please see below for all payment and shipping related instructions. Please email me with any questions. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding! Workmansbooks is an online bookseller specializing in numismatic, military, and treasure hunting-related auction catalogs, books, and magazines for the discerning collector or casual hobbyist. This online bookshop started from a deep passion of collecting reference material for the purpose of identifying pieces of historic militaria and rare coins discovered through the fascinating hobby of metal-detecting. Knowing how hard it is to assemble a reference collection for this hobby was the driving force behind developing this site to help other collectors get the references they need. Our general inventory is a good mix of auction catalogs, books, and magazines, with an emphasis on hard-to-find vintage auction catalogs of rare coins and fine militaria. Our book inventory is tailored toward militaria research, military unit research and identification of military uniforms, equipment, firearms, ordinance, and accoutrement. Also included in our book inventory are selections on numismatic identification as well as selections on treasure, buried treasure, sunken treasure, shipwrecks, salvage, and general treasure hunting how-to. Our magazine inventory is stocked with a nice variety of back issues on treasure hunting, buried treasure, sunken treasure, shipwrecks, and relic hunting. We hope that the reference works you find by visiting our website will be useful in your personal library. Please bookmark our website and check back often, as we are constantly buying and consigning collections and adding new material to the site as soon as it can be cataloged. If you have a collection of similar material for sale, we would be happy to make an offer for your collection.
