This is a very nice piece showing overall porosity though not distracting. The obverse is a strong VF with sharp lettering of LIBERTY nice hair detail and full date. Overall obverse surface is lightly porous. The reverse is a strong VF with all lettering of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA very strong. CHAIN, ONE CENT and fraction 1/100 are equally as strong. Minor rim bruising is noted in photo. The coin in the scans/photo is the coin you are bidding on. The scan is a black white contrast to show areas of light porosity, where the photos show the coins color. This coin is rates on the EAC scale as an EAC8 and is very pleasing. Similar EAC8 coins have auctioned bid out at the level I am asking. If you are looking to fill that key date hole with the first large cent issued this coin is very pleasing.
