Maryland State Comptroller, Peter Franchot The property being sold in this auction are the contents of safe deposit boxes reported to the Comptroller of Maryland, Unclaimed Property Unit by various safekeeping repositories. The boxes have been unclaimed by the owner for more than 3 years from the date on which the lease or rental period expired. Item(s) as described by a certified appraiser: 1 - $5 Series 1929 Type 1 National Currency on The First National Bank of the City of New York, Charter #29, grade VF+. Please read all information before placing bids or making payment. Shipping, Insurance & Delivery Confirmation: Buyer pays shipping and handling. This amount will be determined at the close of the auction. This amount is based on your location and the end of the auction amount. We will ship the merchandise via United State Postal Service (USPS). Insurance is included on items sold at $100 or less. Additional insurance will apply to all items sold over $100. We do require signature guarantees on packages valued at $250 or more, the cost of the service is $2.10; however, we will split the cost. Your invoice will show an additional $1.05. Items under $250 are not required; however, you may request to have signature delivery confirmation at your expense. If you wish to have any additional services using USPS (such as delivery confirmation or express mail) please request a revised invoice prior to paying. If you are the winner of this item, do not send payment until we have sent you an invoice first. If you have any preferences of where you would like your package left at time of delivery or any additional requests for the USPS driver, please let us know at the time of payment and we will add the notes to your label. Multiple Shipping: If you win more than one auction within 7 days, you may request to have the items shipped together for a reduced price. You must first request a revised invoice prior to making payment and indicate the items in which you would like shipped together.
