Bold embossing still remains on this watermaked paper "CONFEDE RATION" (see last photo) on two lines when held upto a light source. Furthermore, this note is boldly signed by Robert A. Roberts (R. Roberts), and signed by Jacob Masoner (J. Mafoner), .  The serial number 170901 of this note is in clear red ink. Embedded thick blue threads which are present along with the watermarked paper , were both used as anti-counterfeiting devices. An original and genuine example of our early monetary history. Purchased from CAA over 4 years ago where they graded this same note as XF (bold with no problems).
