King Kamehameha III Copper Cent, 1847. Struck in the United States. Crosslet 4, 15 Berries (7 x 8) reverse. KM-1d. Obverse features facing bust of King Kamehameha, with legend KAMEHAMEHA III, KA MOI. The reverse with denomination HAPA HANERI (part of a hundred) within a wreath surrounded by the legend AUPUNI HAWAII (Government of Hawaii). Mintage: 100,000.   Detail of Extremely Fine, but cleaned long ago and has retoned nicely, somewhat rough surfaces due to corrosion removal. Trace of old red verdigris remains on the reverse along with some debris in the devices.
