It seems someone thinks its funny to use the buy it now button and not pay. This costs  valuable time, money and grief.  I do not find it the least bit funny. I have notified ebay and will take every possible leagle action against those who have done it recently and anyone who does it in the future. The funds from the coin auctions I have listed are going to pay medical bills for a good friend who has been diagnosed with cancer. This is not play money. That makes these acts even more dispicable. I tell him his coins have sold and he relaxes thinking he has the extra funds. Then it turns out to be bogus. I hope you can understand my frustration and his situation. The first Fifty Dollar Gold pieces to be issued under the authority of the California Historical Society. The total issue was only 5,000 pieces. Each $50 Coin is struck from authentic Kellogg & Humbert ingots recovered from the ship SS Central America(which sank in a terrible hurricane on Sept 12th,1857) and contains 1309 grains of .887 fine gold. That is about 2 1/2 ounces worth!!! The original dies from Kellogg & Co. were used to make these historical commemorative pieces of California gold. It comes in a gorgeous frame with a certificate of authenticity and numbered(4343) by The California Historical Society encapsulated by PCGS graded Gem Proof. This is truly a piece of American history. It will be a show piece in anyone's collection. This is a terrific investment also. When these were made in 2001 they were sold for $5,500 each. Gold since then has just about TRIPLED in value. You will not be able to find one these very easily, and once you have it you will not want to let it go. It comes in its original  box which is quite nice with the SS Central America logo in the lid and all documentation. It is also framed as shown in the picture.
