These are the Actual drawings (not copies), that were commissioned by the U.S. Mint, and is now the Rhode Island State quarter!  Daniel Carr had drawn it originally as a Vintage sailboat, (as shown in picture #1), but upon request from the Governor of Rhode Island, erased the sail-section to draw it as the Racing-Yacht Reliance, built in Rhode Island, that won the America's Cup in 1903.  The erasure still shows clearly on the pencil drawing; so you actually see/own the Work in progress.  Picture #3 shows the final drawing sent to the U.S. Mint and becoming the Rhode Island State Quarter!  These are the ONLY working drawings he made for this quarter.... This historic piece of work is a place in history - like the American Quarters Collection, which will live on and on....  It's something NO other Collector will ever have. Place a Bid!
