Description
KENNYSKASA Store For sale here is a very rare uncut sheet of Republic of Texas issued currency. They are dated July 1st 1841 and there are three notes - two $1s and a $2 bill. These sheets were printed with four notes (a $3 bill at top), which makes this one with only three notes more properly termed a partial uncut sheet. But even uncut pairs are very rare indeed and there are probably fewer than a dozen in existence.I am startig this one low, but I have added a reserve of $999, which is what these notes would be worth if the sheet were cut. They are in excellent condition, with some one-time folds, and of course the cut cancellation that all Texas notes have, but there are no tears, missing peices or other problems. I would grade each note a strong VF or perhaps XF. They are uniface and the backs show no grafiti. Any collector of Texana will appreciate this! Paypal OK, also checks, MOs etc.
