Description
This is a very good and rare 1920 Ten Dollar Republic of Ireland Bond Certificate. The certificate bears the printed signatures of Eamon de Valera and Sean na Nunain and is impressed with a blind stamp that I can't quite read. This stamp is clearly visible in the pictures below. The certificate also bears (twice) the printed serial number 162149. Also on the certificate is the handwritten name "Patrick McNulty" who was the purchaser of the bond, and a handwritten number "N.N. 36726". The certificate measures about 6 inches in height by about 9 in width. It is in very good shape, with three vertical fold creases and a few other minor wrinkles. The colors are bright and crisp, and the white is very clean with only the slightest darkening at the edges. I have included pictures but if you need a different view, please ask. Please click here to view my other items. All questions cheerfully answered; winner prepays including for USPS priority mail, delivery confirmation and insurance; NY residents pay sales tax; there is a modest reserve. At the end of the auction I will send a payment invoice, via e-mail and eBay message, to the winning bidder. Do not send payment until you get the invoice as it will include costs updated to reflect your zip code and insurance value. Thanks.
