Carlilse list this medal as 1929/1. It is 52mm in diameter and he states records show that a mere 118 farmers reached the required quota. So, what we have is a state government issued medal struck in a commonwealth of Australia mint at Perth with a mere handful in existence. The medal is a decent VF with light porous surfaces and a red-brown-orangy patina. ANY type of OFFICIAL government medal of this type tends to be VERY rare.
