The obverse of the note depicts the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. This note is in very good circulated condition (may have some minor staining etc but is in overall in very good (XF) condition especially given that these notes are now over 60 years old). These undated notes were issued by the Reichskreditkasse during world war 2 to be used by the German military and civilians within the occupied teritories of Europe. This currency was issued to be used alongside the regional currency of the areas into which it was intorduced in areas where there was insufficient supply of the regional currency. These notes were mainly used in Poland, Norway and the Balkan states.
