Important and Rare May 10, 1775 $20 Continental Congress Note, PMG VF-30. Marbled Border Supplied by Benjamin Franklin. < Printed on a special Marbled Border paper supplied by Benjamin Franklin, this rare Twenty Dollar note from the first Continental Congress issue is a very special and desireable note and is highly collectible. Nice, full margins and very well centered, this currency is a special example. The vivid blue, gold and red “Marbled Border” at left measures nearly .75” wide. It has some expert repair (as is noted upon the holder), to the centerfold. All the text is both clear and sharp, in bold, black lettering. The signature of John Maxwell Nesbitt and the serial number are strikingly clear and in brown ink.
