Description
Newfoundland Government Cash Notes, a matched set of five notes, dated 1903, and consisting of the 40¢; 50¢; 80¢; $1; and $5; All graded by PMG, the 40 Cent grades AU-58 and the other 4 graded Gem CU66. I just got these back from PMG in St. Louis, so I don't images of these notes in the holders yet. All overprinted SPECIMEN, with serial numbers "00000". The Catalogue numbers are NF#2c; 3c; 4c; 5c; and 6c, respectively, as listed in Charlton. This set is absolutely exciting and historical. Indeed, it would be virtually impossible to purchase an issued example in any grade approaching these notes. Also, it must be remembered that the 1903 40¢ issue and the $5 issue are both not known to have survived in issued form.Christmas Season Special! I am offering free shipping for First Class Mail! I am also paying the 5% GST for Canadian residents! (Express Post and Registered Mail is extra. HST is invoiced at 8%)(Shipping costs: Free first class mail!; $10 for Express Post in Canada; $13 to the U.S.; $18 for Registered Mail internationally; will combine multiple lots in shipping charges, depending on weight and dimensions) (All items guaranteed genuine, unless otherwise specified. Fourteen-day return privilege if not satisfied.
