You will be getting 2 cancelled stock certificates from the Historic REED’S PEAK MINING COMPANY of Park City. The 2 shown are representative of the one’s you will be getting as each cancelled stock certificate is unique with different owners, signatures, cancellation marks etc. YOU WILL BE GETTTING ONE EACH OF THE SHOWN VIGNETTES. I have seen dates as early as 1914 and as late as 1920. One vignette, hinting strength, is a typical spread eagle with a Capital building in the background. The other more interesting vignette represents the Industrial Age and has a draped full figured woman [ probably COLUMBIA ] wearing a wreath, leaning on a generator, and holding up a lit light bulb. Both certificate examples declare, “Incorporated in the State of Utah. Park City is printed on the certificate as well as embossed by the corporate seal “REEDS PEAK MINING CO PARK CITY, UTAH” They have a lot of character: Most have old fountain pen signatures and writing with great penmanship, some minor soiling,cancellation marks, rubber stamp marks, small tears and fold lines.
