We were very, very fortunate to have found many of the plain edge dollars in bank rolls, and we are selling them on eBay resulting in many happy repeat customers.  Each coin is carefully inserted into a coin flip with cotton gloves.  This coin was in the same box and is the same quality as other graded and slabbed coins that we are currently selling on eBay.  If you want a slabbed coin, please bid on our other current "plain edge Washington" auctions.  This coin came from a dollar roll that was in a box marked CWI-103, date-stamped Feb. 12, 2007 and Inspected by XXX4. These scarce items have dried up - no more to be found here in Florida.  It has been estimated that the total mintage of these plain edge dollars is between 140,000 and 280,000 (1 or 2 ballistic bags).  That minted quantity is much less than the 1909-SVDB - you do the math!!! One word of caution: Be aware that some unscrupulous individuals are machining the edges off normal Washington dollars, then they are trying to pass them off as genuine errors.
