Description
Here is a very pleasing AE26 of Singara in Mesopotamia. Beautiful detail on both sides but the patina has likely been stripped at one point with some pitting beneath. This is a 4mm thick and very impressive coin in hand. The turreted bust of Tyche is exceptionally impressive. Thanks for looking and good luck! Magellan Returns: 2 week return privilege for any reason, no questions asked. All items guaranteed authentic for life and while I personally guarantee the authenticity of every coin I sell and take great pains to ensure that I do not sell any forgeries backed by my 12 years of strong experience in handling ancient coins, you can return it any time for a full refund for authenticity reasons. Shipping: Multiple auction wins combined without limit. All coins I send by this method will be packed carefully in a bubble wrap envelope with no indication that there is anything of value within, and I have never had a coin I’ve shipped by this method lost in the mail. I also don’t have to fill out a customs form if I send a coin this way so I believe this is the safest way to send coins to more difficult countries such as Spain and Italy. Please understand that I am not an insurance company however and will not be responsible for items which are lost in the post. Registered and Insured Mail: Please add US$12.50 for registered mail sent worldwide and $10.50 for registered mail sent within the U.S. For worldwide registered mail the indemnity is limited to US $42.00 and for domestic mail you can insure an item up to $25,000 by using registered mail. The charge for insured mail within the US varies by the value of the coin and is set at USPS rates. I only offer insurance on coins over $25.00 in value as I feel that given the very small chance of losing a coin in the post, insuring a coin cheaper than this is very cost and time ineffective for both of us.
