This rare proof silver piece features boldly struck devices set against deeply reflective fields, with plenty of prominent detail in Liberty's robes, shield and the individual feathers of the American Eagle on the reverse. The surfaces are wonderfully smooth and distinguished by a subtle bluish hue around the edges that  further accentuates the strong, handsome character of this unique coin.
