This fantastic Morgan Dollar features a strong strike and much better defined devices than your standard 1904-S Morgan. The fields and surfaces are remarkably smooth and mostly untouched with original mint luster. The excellent eye-appeal and overall condition of this sharp specimen is sure to be appreciated by any Morgan enthusiast! The semi key-Date 1904-S Morgan remains one of the most elusive finds in Gem or Near-Gem condition. Apparently most of the 1904-S mintage was quickly dropped into circulation, and so very few uncirculated examples remain. PCGS has certified only 116 with an MS65 grade, and only 11 have graded higher. Currently, Numismedia.com lists a value of $11,030 for the 1904-S Morgan Dollar in MS65 grade.
