The first recovery efforts began in 2000, and these are among the very first specimens released to the public! As the salvage company is involved in a series of ongoing legal battles, it is unlikely any additional specimens will hit the market for the next 3-5 years.The next Auguste Wreck coin is a fantastic 1754-JD Peruvian 8 reales silver cob, struck at the royal mint in Lima during the reign of Spain's King Fernando VI (1746-1759).
