The 4 designs ( 7 Shillings & 6 Pence / 10 Shillings / 20 Shillings / 40 Shillings ) are all scrolly frames, the denomination written out in the center with the Tenor value ( what is was previously, before inflation etc ). This sheet is completely blank when viewed head on, but held to the light ( as our picture with little visible and enhanced contrast ), one can make out the four values. The sheet could have been up against the printing plate or another wet sheet, either in 1742 ( which I doubt ) or more likely in 1846 when H.Cohen convinced the State to let him make reprints, which were acquired by Henry Ford for his wonderful collection. The sheet has some residual hand applied glue markings on the reverse only.
