Description
Outstanding Investment Quality Collection of Morgan Silver Dollars ALL DATES AND MINTS (Missing 1894 and 1895 only) Fabulous opportunity to get a complete set of Morgan Silver Dollars with only two missing (the 1894 and 1895).  Building this set has been a 20 year project.  I have assembled and sold two other sets that were results of initial acquisitions leading me on the journey to this one.  Both of those were nice sets as well but had only half the total dates and mints that were available and this set stepped up the condition on those replaced as well.  This set includes every single one, except the 1894 and 1895.  You will be hard pressed to find a set that includes this many in the condition of the coins in this set with an opportunity to get them at this price. But even those that do not fit in the MS category they would still be considered good, very good,  fine or better. VERY, VERY nice set.  An investment set.  Many of these were removed from slabs over the years in my effort to complete the set.   Now that I'm focusing on the completion of a slabbed and graded set, I wish I had not done that, but as a collector, the slab and grade at the time wasn't as significant to me as my goal to complete the full set.  For any that may have concern about the authenticity of the 1893 S, soon after I purchased it, I had it evaluated by three dealers for authenticity.  It does have the die crack evident in the authentic coin and I has been provided the assurance that it is authentic.  Otherwise, I would not have proceeded to include it in my collection.  For any of you that have searched for one of these, this is a very fine example of this extremely rare and difficult to find coin.  At one time, I considered sending the entire set off for grading, thus, completion of my slabbed and graded set, but due to my being uncomfortable sending these out without assurance of a return of the same ones I sent, I chose not to do so and just enjoy the challenge of completing another set. If you will look at the photos, you can see for yourself that these coins present an opportunity to have an entire set for a phenomenally below book value price.  The photos are of the actual coins you are considering and are not stock photos.  These are the actual coins you will receive.  Unfortunately, I can't get a photo of all of the collection in with only 12 photos, so I ask that you let me know if you have any questions or need a photo of a specific coin and I will try to email you some more photos. Be sure to include your email address with your request. I do ask that only serious buyers with the ability to pay bid on these.  The winning buyer is to contact me within 24 hours of winning bid to advise how payment will be submitted.  Any winning bid not paid within seven days of winning will be considered cancelled and if necessary a non-payment notice submitted.  If you plan to pay by use of Paypal, they may require additional credentials to process the payment, so please be prepared for such.   I will not ship until funds have been confirmed to my bank, and this process can take up to ten (10) business days. If you have questions, please ask prior to making any offer. I will ship ONLY to a confirmed address after receipt of confirmed funds to my account.  No INTERNATIONAL bids as I am not set up to ship internationally. Will require a signature confirmation and will be shipped registered, insured mail.  I have been advised that the best way to sell this collection is to break it up and sell all piece by piece, but I felt I would attempt to provide someone the chance to obtain the entire set first.  I also ask that anyone considering a purchase, that you please review my feedback file prior to making any offer.  My integrity means more to me than the sale of any item or items I may offer.  So, I ask you to review my file for information relative to any proposed transaction with me.  I am an honest person.  I have attempted to provide you sufficient information about this very nice set of Morgan Silver Dollars but should you have questions, PLEASE ask prior to making a decision to buy.  Due to my own obligations and decision to change my focus on other collection areas, I am offering this collection up for bid.  I realize that my asking price is a substantial amount for someone to consider during these tough economic times, which is also a reason for me offering them for sale to begin with, but I have attempted to place an asking price that can be a win/win for both the buyer and for me.  I realize that I will never receive the amount of my initial investment in these coins as my objective in completion of the set prompted me to pay more than I should have for some of them, but at the time, I elected to do so, to meet the challenge I put before me to complete the set.  I do have the 1894, but since it is already graded, I elected not to remove it from the slab, as I am now focusing on the completion of my actual slabbed and graded complete set.  If that collection takes me another 20 years to accomplish, which is possible since I may have to budget carefully for some of them, then it is my hope that I will have the chance to hear from some lucky buyer of these that their value is then equal or greater than that of my next set. Some of these still offer a challenge to the buyer to continue in the process of upgrading but from the prospective I received from the dealers that looked at them, it's an extremely fine set and well worth the asking price and allows some room to improve upon the investment but doesn't put the buyer in a position of having to in order to recognize the substantial value that over time will only continue to increase.  Thank you for looking at this offer and for your consideration and I also ask that any offer of less than my asking price be a reasonable offer for the value placed before you for consideration.  I am not interested in letting these go to someone trying to just get a bargain although I also recognize that getting these at my asking price already provides that opportunity to someone lucky enough to recognize the real value of this set.  I had actually attempted to offer them under the auction function and had set a very low reserve that would hopefully prompt the actual challenge and fun of participating in the auction.  Unfortunately, the bidders didn't get to that point although they were very close and should the bid have ended at that point someone would have obtained this set for the value of only one of the coins in the collection.  Thankfully for me, that didn't happen.  This time, I have elected to offer them at a reasonable price so I can address other matters, so, here is your chance to get something of this significance at a fraction of it's actual value and if you have the time and energy to get each and every one eventually graded, you may be sending me thank you notes for years to come. Thank you for the consideration and opportunity to work with you on this transaction.   I have reduced my asking price to an almost give-a-way for this type collection.  There are two-three coins in this set that are worth the total asking price, making the other 90+FREE!  Why am I doing this? Because I have some pressing issues that I must face and must sell some of my coin collection to be able to focus on these.  I sincerely appreciate your consideration and respect for the reductions I've made to allow you to have this opportunity which is a win for you and for me to take care of some matters that I must, which is a win for me!  This is how every business transaction should be so thank you very much for the opportunity.
