This note is in Uncirculated condition ... totally clean and razor sharp ... a BEAUTY! A very minor scuff about 1 mm wide on the upper border center and what looks to be some red ink on the upper edge of the note ... looks like it is the same color as the seal, I am only mentioning this to be fully complete in my description, but don't let it fool you ... this note is MINT. Look at the picture and see for yourself. The series "B" is a rare one to find ... $2 red stars were only printed in very limited amounts . As a BIG BONUS ... The front plate of this note is the first plate ever produced ... a #1 ... the back plate is 408. Hoard this away and the potential for it to increase in value is excellent! The market for collectible paper money has Exploded over the past 10 - 15 years. Book Value is $100 + Star Notes are actually replacement notes substituted by the Bureau of Printing and Engraving when dollar bills are made with Errors or Misprints (see below).
