Grade or condition of item(s): New (Uncirculated {UNC}) Detailed description: No collection of beautiful Mexican bancos notes is complete without this gorgeous, full-color fantasy sheet of four 1000 peso proof notes from El Banco de Sonora! Actually, there is in truth no complete collection of all the old bancos notes but your's will certainly be enhanced by this spectacular pretend piece! Genuine banknotes from El Banco de Sonora were produced from 1898 to 1911 and are no longer negotiable but are highly desired by collectors. No genuine 1000 peso notes from this bank of any design are known to exist today. The 1000 peso bill is an artist's rendition of what such a note could have looked like had one been prepared and issued. Each note features three wonderful antique vignettes that were actually used on real notes and stocks, including a lovely young woman at lower left, the central portrait of Hortensia Corral Velez (which appears on all the bancos issues of the State of Sonora), and a beautiful topless maiden at right. This professionally laser-printed fantasy looks real, is great for display, and won't cost you much (and you won't have to worry about it getting stolen!). On the back of each note is printed "FANTASY NOTE - FOR DISPLAY OR PROP USE" & "THIS NOTE IS NOT GENUINE," in compliance with the Hobby Protection Act, so that unscrupulous individuals can't try to sell it as genuine. The sheet is printed on an ivory-colored stock. Great for display in your shop, coin show or flea market booth, den, or use as an eye-catching prop in your next old West production! This sheet will be shipped flat in a nice, heavy-duty, cardboard folder. Shipping costs for this auction or direct sale item: USA - $3.01 / Canada or Mexico - $5.01 / Anywhere else - $7.01 Shipment of multiple items: If you are the winner of other of our auctions/fixed price listings ending at about the same time, we will usually combine or reduce multiple shipping charges, depending on the weight/size of the items and the amount of handling required to pack the items. For single note purchases ending on the same date, we will ship combined single notes for the one shipping price. Please note that we will not ship multiple packs or partial packs of notes for the price of a single pack, however, we will reduce the overall total shipping price for multiple lots of packs purchased when possible. Please email us for a quote. Insurance: Most domestic (USA) shipments of $50 in value or more are shipped insured by us. We do not insure foreign shipments. All foreign shipments are sent at the buyer's risk. Higher value shipments can be sent via registered mail (very safe, but slower than standard mail) at an additional charge to the buyer. Sales Tax (Florida residents only): Please add 7% sales tax. In lieu of the tax, registered dealers can submit a signed copy of their resale certificate to the contact address below. Accepted payment options (US buyers): money orders, cashier's checks, personal checks, other payment methods (contact us) or PayPal (not accepted for more than $50 from non-verified members or to be shipped to non-confirmed addresses). Sorry, no PayPal payments accepted for more than $50 if the item is to be shipped to a non-PayPal-confirmed address. See below (in the "How to contact us" section) for info on where to send PayPal payments or payments through the mail. Any non-cash funds sent via the mail may have to clear up to 10 business days prior to the item(s) being shipped and must be made out to "Richard J. Reed." Accepted payment options (non-US buyers): international money orders in US dollars, other payment methods (contact us first) or PayPal (not accepted for more than $50 from non-US-verified members or to be shipped to non-confirmed US addresses). Sorry, no PayPal payments accepted for more than $50 from foreign buyers. If you have questions about this, contact us first prior to making a commitment to buy an item. See below (in the "How to contact us" section) for info on where to send PayPal payments or payments through the mail. Any non-cash funds sent via the mail may have to clear up to 10 business days prior to the item(s) being shipped and must be made out to "Richard J. Reed." Delivery: Every effort is made to send the merchandise to the buyer as soon after payment is received as possible. Occasionally we are out of town at a show and mailing can be delayed slightly but in most cases orders are shipped within one to two days after receipt of your cleared payment. Cleared payment means that any check, money order, international money order or similar instrument must clear our bank first prior to shipment, particularly for large amounts or if you are unknown to us. Bear in mind that once the package has been mailed, it is out of our hands. Overseas packages, particularly registered packages, can be very slow in reaching their destination. Other terms: Payment is due within 14 days of the sale close date. Failure to honor your obligation to pay for a winning bid in our auction or instant-purchase sale will result in negative feedback and in being placed on our "blocked bidder" list. Bidders with a negative feedback total or on our "blocked bidder" list will be prevented from purchasing our items. Bidders with low feedback totals or with excessive negative feedback totals may be prevented from purchasing items or may be limited as to the quantity of items. We have been dealing in world notes since 1981 and have always run our business by offering conservatively graded material, fair pricing, and fast, friendly service, so bid with confidence! We are a member of the IBNS, SPMC, and FUN. How to contact us: PayPal payments can be sent to: rjreed@misterbanknote.com.
