A typical certificate has five ink signatures on its front and back, and a 3/4-inch tall perforated cancel reading on three lines: "CANCELLED/2-11-31/GT Co. This SCARCE certificate has a beautiful vignette of a woman and man leaning against the logo "LRT Corp. The company was incorporated in the State of New York, even though its manufacturing plant was in Conshocken, Pennsylvania. During World War II the firm manufactured a great variety of rubber products for the war effort, namely: aviation, airplane, aircraft, automotive, medical, personal hygiene, engineering, hospital, and health. Some say that the company made tires for the B-17, 24, and 29 bombers. The building and facilities of the firm were eventually sold to the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company circa 1965.
