Description
A complete set of ten Specimen Banknotes, 10 Jeon to 500 Won, Ex. Frank Fesco collection and shipped to him in May of 1964 by the Bank of Korea with accompanying cover letter and specification sheets. In addition to having been of Canada’s most knowledgeable collectors and researchers of Far Eastern coinage, Fesco served with distinction in both the Second World War and Korea. Though paper money remained a somewhat peripheral interest of his, no area remained unrepresented in his remarkable collection of Chinese & Korean material. The first such Korean set we’ve handled, and we believe far scarcer than the “made-to-order” Specimen sets of the 1970’s. Note the neat “9999939” serial number on one of the 100 Won notes! Terms of Sale:Purchaser to pay insured Registered shipping of $5.00 world-wide. Sales to Canadian addresses will attract applicable taxes. We are pleased to accept payment by Paypal (U.S. or Canadian Funds), any Cheque or Money Order drawn in North America, or by Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Satisfaction guaranteed, or full refund. Member: Canadian Association of Numismatic Dealers
