Description
Videophile Store Westward Journey Nickel Series™ "Ocean In View! O! The Joy!" (Q70) First Day Cover In Sealed, Unmarked White Mailer Envelope            This is the RARE one of the Series!           Just 1 available with this listing    Less than 25,000 sold by the Mint! 2005 Ocean-In-View Official First Day Cover – (Q70) The "Ocean in View" Nickel is the fourth coin released in the Westward Journey Nickel Series.  Easily the rarest cover in the set, sales from the Mint is estimated to be less than 25,000.  Both nickels, one from Philadelphia and one from Denver, are among those that were produced on June 20, 2005, the first day of mintage of this coin. The Reverse celebrates the day the Expedition thought they first sighted the Pacific Ocean.  In reality, the group was still 20 miles inland, mistaking an estuary on the Columbia River for the ocean. A 37-cent US Flag Stamp, postmarked on August 1, 2005, from Chinook Station, Chinook, WA, marks the first day of release to the Federal Reserve Bank and to the public. DON'T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO GET YOURS! Each First Day Cover features two (2) Jefferson Nickels, one from each US Mint (P & D), taken from coins minted on the first day of production from both locations.  They are mounted on beautifully illustrated cards that include interesting facts pertaining to each stage of the journey.  Each Cover features a US Flag Postage Stamp, which is postmarked on the day each nickel type was released to the Federal Reserve Bank, and to the public, from a location historically significant to the expedition. About Me & How to Contact Me      Hello.  My name is David, but everyone calls me DVD- my initials, and one of my favorite interests.  I have been buying and selling on eBay for nearly eight years.  At first, I bought far more than I sold!  eBay is almost completely responsible for re-igniting my interest in modern American coins, a passion I first developed as a child.        I started out selling on eBay the way many do, listing miscellaneous household items that were no longer being used.  The process turned out to be remarkably simple, and very rewarding.  My background in wholesale Consumer Electronics instilled in me the customer focus needed to succeed on eBay.        Several years ago, after fighting a chronic pain condition nearly my entire adult life, I was forced to give up a successful career.  The constant, severe pain was so debilitating, I could no longer put in the long hours and constant travel my job required.        With no other source of income, I turned to the one thing I knew I could do, that required just a couple hours a day, on my schedule, and at my pace- selling on eBay.  For the past 3 ½ years, I have been selling a variety of merchandise through my eBay store, DVDsCoinShoppe.  This enterprise, focused on selling Certified Gold and Silver Modern US Coins, DVD’s from my vast collection, and limited edition lithographs (three of my favorite hobbies) provides me with a means of support that no other option offers.        As my Feedback history will attest, I credit my “Customer First” approach to selling for my success on eBay.  I truly appreciate that you have taken time to check out this, and other, items I am currently offering.  I value your business and will do whatever is necessary to ensure every transaction is pleasant, enjoyable, and satisfying for my customers.   If you have a question or comment about this listing, please contact me.   THANK YOU for your interest in my auction.   GOOD LUCK BIDDING ! !  :-) Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool.
