I bought this system about a year ago and have used it twice very successfully. I purchased this to melt and refine gold jewelry. I am out of gold jewelry and have no more need for this. It is quite easy to use, BUT when you buy it NEW, you have to go out and BUY ALL the OTHER REQUIRED stuff. Let me save you the time and money. Here's is what is included in this COMPLETE kit. 1. IShore Gold/Platinum Refining Kit (Paid $325) 2.  2 Supplies of ALL the "powders" and catalysts you need to refine the gold properly. (Paid $164) 3. The metal alloy package that allows you to mix the melted gold and refine it EASIER. 4. The battery charger you need ( NOT included in the simplicity kit) 5. The pots, pans, bucket, electric burner, need for the refining process. 6. Tongs, gloves, basters, funnels, and more. (see Pictures) 7. The crucibles and ALL tools needed to refine the gold into BARS. I spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on these additonal items and this will save you a lot of money by getting it all at once. The refining process is quite easy when you follow the simple directions. What wasn't easy was having to go out and buy all of this stuff separately.
