This tool BELONGS in your Geocaching kit.  The Tool is a "AmPro" brand LED illuminated (flashlight) telescoping magnetic pickup device. This Tool is a 5 LED Shirt Pocket Flashlight. In the center of the lens  there is a 12" long pull out telescoping pickup rod tipped with a very strong Neodymium rare earth magnet. The magnet is strong enough to pick up objects weighing several pounds. The magnet's shaft will telescope in flush with the flashlight lens. The 5 LEDs are very bright and make this an effective flashlight and it will illuminate a hole or dark confined space from which you are trying to make a cache recovery. The lights turn on and off by a push button switch built into the rear of the light. You can see the on off button on the above flashlight on the left of the photo above.  The Light uses 4 common #357 button cells commonly used in cameras and available inexpensively at any Walmart, Rite Aide or similar store.
