Description
United States Silver Mint Collection First Edition This is a 50 piece collection of Danbury Mint United States Silver Ingots. Each bar is hallmarked on the side with: United States Silver Ingot Collection - First Edition 5000 Grains Sterling Silver and 4 makers marks indicating date/year. It includes the lovely wooden storage case shown. It is lined in paper felt, not fabric, and is in very good condition. There is a plastic/plexiglass cover over the bars inside the case. On the front of each bar shows a state, what it represents, and what number/order it came into the Union. On the back is the date it was admitted to the Union and a statement of it's quality, importance, or place in the country. Also, the name in which it's known by. I've included several pictures to help show what I haven't described here. Please note: small specks of lint and crazy reflections from the room can be seen in photos and are not damage. Each one of these bars are 5000 grains of sterling silver. Breakdown: weight is 520.8333 troy ounces of .925 silver or; 481.77 troy ounces of .999 silver 5000 gr = 10.4166 oz(troy) This exquisite issue will make a spectacular addition to your collection or an amazing Gift this holiday season!
