The Earl was, at that time, the Governor of New South Wales- then an independent government as were ALL states of Australia. The Mint - obviously the same for each of the medals- is not known. Carlisle's listed medal is the SAME diameter as this one -24mm. The medal is in some surface dirt but it still sharp. It is a VERY desirable agricultural medal related to the Colonial pre federation days of Australia . The fact is- that ALL such Australia items - whether they are medals, Coins, Stamps etc are TOP INVESTMENT MATERIAL with great demand, I will start this item at a price I think is CHEAP for what this is and let the MARKET decide final value.
