Description
The Second Finest PMG Certified May 22, 1777 One Ninth of a Dollar Rhode Island Note State of Rhode Island. May 22, 1777. One Ninth of a Dollar. PMG graded Very Fine-25. This low denomination note is very clean and well printed, specially for this scarce issue. The black printed text is clear and sharp, the paper remains very clean and without detractions. There is a deft repaired tear at the centerfold edge as so noted on its holder. A nice brown ink signature by Theodore Foster adds some color and extra eye appeal. According to the PMG population report, that firm has not certified even a single example, this note is the Second Finest Certified with only a single VF-30 graded finer. Item Number: 65089 NO RESERVE. Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.
