Some serious researchers of American history and finance continue to argue to this very day that the promised 5% interest of these notes should be compounded and still currently payable! The three red and brown signatures on the obverse are clear, while the guarantee signature on the reverse is present but very faint. There is light conservation and a trivial well restored centerfold edge split at top, as so noted on the holder. Printed in red and black, notes from this issue are extremely rare to locate having no cancel.
