Description
Province of North Carolina. December 1771. Two Pounds. “Bird with an Olive Branch” Vignette. PMG graded Very Fine-20. < This note is above average for the issue. It is a lovely example of this larger sized, Two Pounds denomination. The paper remains quite clean and it is well printed with four margins and all four signatures present. There are some typical notations on the blank reverse and there are a few short sealed edge tears at top which is noted as split repairs on the holder. Overall, this nice note has a detailed “Bird with an Olive Branch” vignette and would be a fine collectable representation for this issue.
