Chain and medal looks to be made of copper. The medal measures 1.75” (46mm) across and has the LIBERTY BELL on the obverse and US EAGLE and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BICENTENNIAL on the reverse. The hinged case is metal, covered with blue cloth on the exterior. The interior bed is blue velvet and the inside lid is white satin with gold Bicentennial motifs. The case measures 3.25” by 4.5” by 1”. Interesting 1976 Bicentennial era item. Condition of the medal and chain is excellent. Looks to have been never worn.
