Issued 1919, 100 shares, hand signed by the Vice President, transferred on the back but uncancelled. Engraved by American Bank Note Company, gorgeous vignette. Despite the name, this company owned a producing gold mine. Owned two groups of property, “a mile apart in Big bug district, Yavapai county...steady producer of gold ores...fissure vein...100 tons mill...” (Mines Handbook, 1925). Reorganized in 1923 as the Huron Copper Co. Condition of the certificate is excellent. Has been folded in thirds and two tiniest staple holes, else crisp and clean.
