Description
Here for your consideration is a beautiful gold pendant. It consists of a custom-made 14k gold frame surrounding a genuine 4th century BC greek coin. The coin was made in Aspendos, Pamphylia to commemmorate the Olympics. The obverse is an image of two naked athletes, wrestling, grasping each others arms with "AA" between their legs. The image is surrounded by dots. The reverse is the most striking and is mounted facing the front of the setting. It contains a slinger, advancing right, about to release his sling and a triskele of human legs, all included in a square of dots. The pendant was made in Israel. A certificate of authenticity is included. If you, the successful bidder, so desires, the setting can be removed by a qualified goldsmith. The coin will retain its numismatic value. This pendant has not been worn and has been protected by its felt storage bag since its day of assembly. The certificate tag is still attached to the pendant hanger. All documentation in my possession will be included with the pendant - C of A, care card, and coin and maker information - in a custom presentation folder. Big Price Reduction
