This note is a nice example of a 1778 series $5 Continental Currency note, some of the first paper money issued by our Country. The note is dated September 26th 1778. The note grades fine, it has nice solid paper body, there are no pinholes. The note is hand signed. The note was printed by Hall and Sellers.
