Be sure to see my other collectibles from my private collection of over 50 years. This set has had no private certification. I believe that certification is a money making gimmick. I have collected coins since the 1950s. Back then the best was “brilliant uncirculated” or proof. As you know since then (in about the late 1970s) things in the coin market and especially the grading of coins changed drastically because coins were being bought up by investors for their pension plans (no longer permitted). Thus 10 grades of uncirculated popped up really damaging the collector coin market. The grading system however stayed, enriching the dealers and the grading companies as well as those selling high powered electron microscopes under which you can see every microbial hairline (smile). These coins are perfect directly as they came from the mint. If you wish to pay money to have them them further certified you may do so. As an old time collector, I refuse.
