Description
COINSPlus COINSPlus will be closed for summer vacation from JULY 26th- AUGUST 3rd.  This means:We will not be responding to emails or phone calls. We will not be shipping any items purchased during the above dates until AFTER we resume our regular business hours on August 4th. Thank you. Current Market Conditions are making it very difficult for us to answer all emails. We are slammed with precious metals activity. If you have a question about your eBay purchase, please call Joe or Josh at 1-509-444-0044. COINSPlus is the premier rare coin and precious metals dealer in the Northwest U.S. COINSPlus is nationally known & respected for their expertise & integrity in the purchase & sale of rare coins & precious metals. COINSPlus is a high volume rare coin & precious metals investment broker and current market conditions and demand are making it increasingly difficult to respond promptly to email & questions. We are doing our best but our in store activity is extremely demanding. We strive to grade and price our coins fairly and conservatively. We are well aware that eBay has a high percentage of opportunists that put money ahead of ethics.  We do not believe that deceiving people is the right way to do business.  We will attempt to represent and price our coins in an accurate way.  What you see is what you get. Dollar for dollar, we strive to offer the best numismatic product value out there. PLEASE BID TO BUY & USE COMMON SENSE We price coins for what they are worth. If a coin is priced at 70% of the book value for the grade, it is obviously not a very nice example of that coin. On the contrary, if a coin is priced well over its normal book value, it is obviously far nicer than the minimum grade. Our goal is to sell coins for “what they are worth”. Many grading lines are very distinct and two coins within the same grade category can be night & day. Any seasoned collector understands this fact. Remember, we price coins for what they are worth. We do not sell grades, we sell coins. The grading is for convenience. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS ON PCGS, NGC, ANACS, ICG or NCS CERTIFIED COINS These companies’ opinions on grading are much more respected than ours.  If you do not agree with the grade on the holder the problem is with the grading company and they all off. If a coin is not certified by PCGS or NGC, it is what it is. We will not promise or guarantee what any grading service will or will not do. Please do not ask or assume that this is the case. The graders are humans as we are and no one could ever guarantee their behavior. In addition to this, they make money by having people resubmit their coins multiple times to get the appropriate grade. This is no secret. Many professionals in this business make huge 6 figure yearly incomes by “cracking out” and “re-submitting” coins.  Many times a coin will be graded too low by the grading services and we will offer it in the current holder at a percentage of the next grade up. If you do not agree with our grading or pricing, you have the freedom to not purchase the coin. IF YOU ARE NEW TO eBay OR HAVE LESS THAN 100 FEEDBACKS!!!  PLEASE READ THIS!!! Read the terms of sale and return policies carefully BEFORE BUYING. Read item descriptions carefully before buying.  Don't expect something for nothing.  In our experience, 99.999% of the problems that we have had on eBay have come from new or limited users or people who are new to coin buying.  EBay is a contractual atmosphere that requires both purchasers and sellers to abide by the terms of the sale.  If you think you are buying coins at 10% or 20% of book value from any seller, think again. The so-called "bargains" on eBay ARE ALWAYS for coins that are over-graded, counterfeit or mishandled in some way. Coins have a liquid wholesale price that legitimate buyers will pay cash for on the spot. Knowledgeable dealers will not sell coins on eBay for less than their liquid wholesale price.  Beware of many of the "third world" grading services.  The majority of these are owned and operated by practicing coin dealers. Even if they have graded a coin MS67, it can still be an XF/AU or cleaned, counterfeit, repaired or damaged in some discrete way. Stick to the major grading services only. We list and sell a tremendous amount of coins. We do not have the time to write descriptions on every coin.  As a result, the majority of our items do not have descriptions.  We try to provide good quality, accurate coin photos.  We have far, far less than 1% of our coins returned.  We regularly hear that the coin is much nicer than the photo.  This is partially due to the fact that a quality photo will reveal defects not visible to the naked eye. We rarely, if ever, use a scanner because they provide extremely inaccurate, and often very deceptive, images.  If an item does not have a grade, it is usually because the coin is priced at a discount for some reason.  If a coin is discounted below its grade level, you can usually assume that it is weak for the grade.  If the grade of one of our coins is listed with “quotations” (I.E. “BU” or “AU”) it means that the coin is very near or representative of that grade. It means that we are using that grade as a basis for evaluation. ALWAYS READ SALES, SHIPPING & RETURN POLICIES BEFORE YOU BUY! If you missed it or didn't take the time to read it, that does not change the terms of the sale.  Understand that the time and effort that goes into buying a coin, pricing a coin, photographing a coin, listing the coin, describing the coin, answering emails, managing PayPal, processing, organizing and sales and securely packaging, shipping and insuring coins is very significant.  Please respect the time and effort a seller is required to invest to list and sell a coin.  If you have never photographed coins, try it before you pass judgment on those who do. Sellers know the picture they want but a 2-D photo does not represent a 3-D item with complete accuracy.  If you are new to eBay, welcome. Think about what it takes to make a community a positive place and make your efforts to leave eBay better than you found it. IF YOU ARE AN ANGRY OR VERY HIGH MAINTAINANCE PERSON, PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM US. We have thousands of great customers & friends and do not want headaches. WE ARE NOT PERFECT!!! AND…WE MAKE MISTAKES!!! We purchase and sell millions of dollars of coins per month. We try our hardest but once in awhile we do make mistakes. We have employees who are being trained and there is A LOT going on here every day. We have accidentally shipped the wrong coin, listed the wrong price or picture, we have sold coins out of the shop that did not get removed from eBay. We have had coins stolen or lost from our shop.  We have even promised to do something and then forgot!!! Please be patient and understand that we have a large operation and we move a lot of material.  This business is like being a gravel company that has to keep track of every piece of gravel and its price from the purchase through the sale. COINSPlus is an extremely high volume buyer & seller of rare coins, gold, silver, collectible currency, scrap gold, jewelry & diamonds.  We have one of the finest rare coin and precious metals brokerage and safe depository facilities in the United States. We specialize in rare coin and precious metals investment guidance. We rarely, if ever, use actual eBay auctions to sell our coins as we have found them to be far too unpredictable which makes it far too difficult to predict a selling price for a coin. If you have any questions, please email us at info@coinsplus.com Or call us at 1-509-444-0044. FEEDBACK: We have the eBay automation rules set to leave a positive feedback for any positive feedback we receive. If you are unhappy, CALL US and allow us the opportunity to make things right. If you want a positive, leave a positive. Our system will respond in like kind. We have never left a negative for someone who left us a positive. We want to make friends and customers across the globe. Life is too short for anything else.  Over 10000 positive feedbacks testify to the fact that we do try to be fair and reasonable. SHIPPING & RETURNS We will accept returns on raw, uncertified coins which are post-marked within 48 hours of receipt. No exceptions. Please call us to let us know they are coming back. WE WILL NOT REFUND SHIPPING CHARGES. Payment Processing: We will usually ship your item within 5 business days of receiving funds.  We allow 10 BUSINESS DAYS FOR ANY TYPE OF PAPER CHECK TO CLEAR THE BANK. If it clears your bank sooner, that does not matter to us in any way.  If you pay by check, you need to be prepared wait for it to clear. Many packages take up to a week to reach their destination. Please allow two weeks from the date your payment clears to follow up on the shipping status. The more time we spend tracking packages, the less time we have to ship them.  We require shipping insurance on all of our packages to keep everyone safe and honest. It may cost a few extra dollars but the headache of a lost or stolen package is not worth a few dollars less.   If you purchase your item and pay for it via PayPal WE WILL ONLY SHIP TO A PAYPAL VERIFIED ADDRESS, please take note of this when selecting your form of payment.     WE DO NOT REFUND SHIPPING CHARGES ON ANY RETURNS!!!    Powered by eBay Turbo Lister
