Description
Ladies and Gentlemen, take a deep breath, and let it out slowly. Now, are you ready? Here we go! Up for bid is a 2001-S Sacagawea $1 in Proof encapsulated by the leading third party grader, PCGS. This Sacagawea Dollar is graded PR69DCAM! This is a UNIQUE item, which is clearly identified on the holder as a Limited Edition issue! The coin you are bidding on is numbered 75 of 5000. However, the mintage history is identified below!!!! As you can see in the photo, it is signed by the 36th U.S. Mint Director, Jay W. Johnson. This coin DEMANDS to be part of a PCGS Registry Set! NOTICE: I have documentation stipulating that the contract to make this Limited Edition issue expired with LESS THAN FIFTEEN HUNDERD (1500) Sacagawea coins ACTUALLY MINTED!!!! Furthermore, to add to the scarcity, on November 17, 2004, a coin dealer, John Hoppe, reported he SOLD TWO HUNDERD EIGHT (208) of these SAC $1'S signed by the Mint Director, to a buyer who BROKE THEM OUT OF THEIR PCGS holders to fill obligated orders. I WILL PROVIDE THIS DOCUMENTATION TO THE WINNING BIDDER! So, here you have a coin that has a total mintage of no more than 1292! Yes, ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY-TWO coins issued--maximum--. That makes this issue nearly FOUR TIMES MORE SCARCE than the beautiful Glenna Goodacre issue which has a documented mintage of FIVE THOUSAND (5000). The current price of the Goodacre issue is $5750 in PR69. You may use your own word(s) to describe the coin that is at auction before you. Good Luck and Happy Bidding! Offers will be entertained. Item will be shipped REGISTERED MAIL.
