The obverse features Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ full-length figure of Liberty with flowing hair, holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The reverse design, by sculptor Miley Busiek, features a male eagle carrying an olive branch, flying above a nest containing a female eagle and her hatchlings. The 2000 American Eagle Gold Proof Four-Coin Set is packaged in a blue velvet, satin-lined presentation case and accompanied by a custom-designed Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Director of the United States Mint.   These sets were purchased by me from the U.S. Mint and have been stored in a climate controlled bank-type vault since they were shipped from the mint.  The sets have been in a smoke free environment and have not been tampered with or damaged in any way, shape, or form.  PayPal is an accepted form of payment as well as check or money order.  Paypal payments must be drawn on a checking account.
