These are neat small currency notes that were issued to offset a shortage in coinage after the Civil war. The first note is a freidbeg 1255 Ten cent note with the portrait of Washington. This note grades very good, there are no pinholes and the borders have a small tick or two. The second note is a friedberg 1376 50 Cent note with the portrait of Stanton. The note grades very good,  there are no pinholes and the borders are sound, there is a small scuff on the face which will show in the scan.
