The coin is flawless, in a plastic capsule as issued by the mint. It is presented in a dark red velvet box and the box is in perfect condition.   The reverse features a very striking image of Buddha along with a depiction of the Ashoka Pillar, which was erected in 249 BC to mark the birthplace of Buddha. The word “asarfi”, meaning “gold” is shown on the left side. The obverse depicts, in Nepali Script, the name of the King of Nepal and the Nepalese calendar year, both surrounded by religious and cultural emblems.   Only 2,500 of these coins were minted and this is number 0434, with certificate of authenticity included. This is a very bright and very beautiful proof-finish coin.
