Low mintage date with ONLY 33,309 coins of this issue struck. It was the first U.S. gold piece issued in over 50 years. The obverse depicts a man and a woman running toward the right, together bearing the Olympic torch The five Olympic rings with Los Angeles above are in the left field. The reverse has the Heraldic eagle bearing a banner with 13 stars above as its main design. Struck in .900 fine gold, its weight is .484 troy ounces of gold. Deep mirror fields with frosty devices. Light cream-colored streak on the obverse running from the "T" of Liberty through the In God We Trust. NO RESERVE!!!
