Description
This is the full set of 28 silver coins stuck to honor the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal. These commemoratives were struck at the Royal Canadian Mint. The obverse of each coin depicts a different Olympic sport or sports venue for the 1976 Games; the reverse on all is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. There are 14 five dollar commemoratives, each containing 0.72 troy ounces of sterling silver; and 14 ten dollar commemoratives, each containing 1.44 troy ounces of sterling silver. TOTAL STERLING SILVER CONTENT IS 30.24 TROY OUNCES. The coins are encapsulated in sealed crystal polystyrene containers to protect them, and are in beautiful uncirculated condition. They are housed in a specially designed case with a brown faux leather exterior. There are some marks on the container, but the coins are in great shape.
