UNISSUED STOCK CERTIFICATE' Description 1915 GREEN BAY NEWSPAPER COMPANY UNISSUED STOCK CERTIFICATE  The Green Bay Newspaper company was founded in 1915 and the Green Bay Press-Gazette newspaper still publishes today.  The newspaper has strong ties with the Green Bay Packers, (See history at this web site: http://www.packersnews.com/legacy/history/pressgazette/andthepackers.shtml ), going back to the Packers's first years.  The Packers were founded at meetings in the editorial room of Green Bay Press-Gazette (Aug. 11-14, 1919) and Andrew B. Turnbull became the Green Bay Packers 1st president on August 23, 1923 (See the Green Bay Packers web site at  http://www.packers.com/history/chronology/  ). This original like new $100 par value stock certificate was from the company's first stock issuance of 1915.  It is model No. 8 and was produced by the Goes Lithographing Co., Chicago, Illinois. They were founded in 1879 and are still in business today. It is very clean and bright (looks better than my scan which picks up shadows), with minor aging on right edge and comes with it's matching certificate stub.
